Why do I like it: I like the contrast of logic and occult. Logico and Irratino clearly go on vacations together because he can get hint from Irratino any time. Logico is willing to note down star signs on a note, and he is devastated when Irratino fakes death every week. They go on dates (mystery play, pubs, cafe together) afterwards and it's cute.

About the canon: Fate/Grand Order (FGO) is a gacha game based on the fate franchise. It's known for storylines and characters that take great liberty and/or creativity with myths and history, so I will focus on the FGO depiction of the characters.
Arjuna and Karna are both great warriors, half brothers and enemies on different sides. In fact Arjuna kills Karna in the original poem. Arjuna is known as the blessed hero, while Karna is the hero of charity. They have very different personalities. Karna is selfless, noble and aloof. Arjuna is very aware that he isn't a good person.
In another timeline, Arjuna has become a god obsessed with building a perfect world without sin, which is Arjuna Alter.
Arjuna mainly appears in the Singularity V: E Pluribus Unum. Arjuna Alter & Karna mainly interact in the Lostbelt no.4. Arjuna and Arjuna Alter interact in FGO Christmas 2022 event.

Fallen Hero Series is a text based interactive novel series that the Player Character was originally a superhero telepath named Sidestep until something happened to them. Now, the PC is on the path towards villainy. Unfortunately, things don't go as smoothly as expected when the PC becomes entangled with their former teammate Ortega, and the Rangers once again. Why do I like it:
I love how Sidestep and Steel find quiet comfort with each other (walking Steel, the apartment scene, etc), and how they understand each other. Both of them have to deal with enduring issues and impacts that still influence their lives, and they are good at supporting each other. I love how Steel guessed Sidestep's villain identity but is willing to protect him. Their canon sex scene is very gentle and tender too.
I prefer Sidestep to care about Steel and other Rangers. You can write him as an idealist who saves everyone even against his original plan, or a more ruthless crime boss who is willing to kill re-genes and farm agents, but please don't write him as a mass killer who only thinks of the Rangers as pawns or enemies.

What I like about it:
I love the contrast between Ethan's friendliness toward Whatever and the fact that Whatever is a Lovecraftian horror with spines that stirs its coffee with bone and can infect people with nightmares and send them to that alternate reality. Who doesn't love a protective roommate who replaces groceries?
Feel free to name Whatever or keep him nameless. Keeping the epistolary style, switching to first person, third person or second person is fine too.

1. I would like something sweet and lighthearted. I prefer their relationship to be consensual. Ethan is into whatever Whatever has going on and however he gets off with it. Maybe they find a way for creative dates and perhaps a walk in the elder city. Maybe there's really a new bar in the green neighbourhood. Xeno sex is welcomed!

About the canon:
The music video tells the story of an stringed instrument player brought to an enemy court as spoil of war. A palace guard (starts to appear at 1:05) removes his shackles and is kind to him (gives him congee, etc) [1:34. 4:25]. They gradually fall in love, but have to separate when the enemy liege lord releases the player to his homeland on Winter solstice. The story is inspired by a historical stringed instrument player in Spring and Autumn period of China (770 to 481 BC), but it isn't necessary to allude to any specific periods. Please feel free to make up names for them.
Why do I like it: I like the angst, the unexpected mercy, the cultural difference and the lingering sense of loss, that these two different people finding common in music, the stolen moments of intimacy, and the bittersweet ending.

What I like about it:
I love the book for the imaginative world and story telling as a framework, like the story of Scheherazade in One Thousand and One Nights. I love how their connection build through story telling despite their difference and language barrier. I always like people who can't communicate and understand each other fully due to factor beyond their control but try anyway.
Prompts:
1. The book states that neither of them knows whether their conversations are real or only imagined, and that they may not even be in the Khan’s garden at all, but imagining that space between fighting or trading. I think there's great potential playing with identity issues and imagination, which you are uncertain whether your communication partner is real, yet the feeling and understanding are still there.
2. Marco telling stories about other cities, or now it's Kublai Khan's turn to tell stories about cities. Creating stories together and shaping memories. I'm fascinated with the dark and fucked up dynamic between them. Ahriman can choose to hide himself in many other ways, but he instead hides as a lowly sorcerer to kneel to a Khorneate warlord who collects sorcerers like jewels. He can later literally kills Gzrel and everyone in that ship within five human heartbeat, but he endures the public humiliation because he's too depressed to bother/needs to be published in this very specific way. I guess I just want more of the public degradation/humiliation and dramatic irony. If you want to write an AU that Ahriman AU that Ahriman somehow saves Gzrel through time travel/warp fuckery to indulge in more degradation behind closed doors, with Ahriman's real name and sins attached, it's great too.

I love my murderous living robot couple. Obyron is supposed to be only a disposible thing to Zahndrekh, and he's hurt when Zahndrekh seems to agree. He is loyal to Zahndrekh, but also resents him for seemingly blind to the reality. However, Obyron helps covers up the brutal reality for Zahndrekh to protect him. How much Zahndrekh is oblivious that they are robots now or willing blind is up to the readers, but the support of Obyron is essential to his identity. They both at different points openly admit that they feel love towards the other, and essentially defeat the villains due to the power of love.
If you write sex between them, please feel free to take advantage of the fact that they are shapeshifting robots: non-penetrative sex, melding their “flesh” together, transformation of metal body parts for sex purpose, molding a digit precisely to each and every last crevasse of their partner’s form to commit them to sense-memory, etc.

While they never meet in canon, I think it'll be interesting if Cain has to deal with being attracted to a very powerful, supernaturally charismatic and dangerous being who's interested in him, and one that Cain is supposed to follow orders. Cain would know that this is so dangerous because everyone is gunning for Rob and the safe thing is to be far away, but...
Meanwhile Rob has a realistic expectation of human ability, so I think he can appreciate that Cain survives numerous deadly situations that can kill astartes, or at least finds him an interesting and useful tool
I feel that a comedy of error with Cain's usual cursed luck, tropey fun like hurt/comfort that leads to true love, there's one (really big) bed, etc can fit. Cain trying to find assignment that gets him far away from Rob that somehow lands him in great danger and somehow Rob's arms, Cain and Rob in an imperial high society function, or you can write them already together on a date.
Please feel free to handwave the reason how they meet. Cain is said to be called away from retirement into the Black Crusade, so they can possibly meet then, or you can fudge the timeline a bit and let them meet earlier..
Please no mention of Amberley. Let's pretend that she is being on mission somewhere off screen. You can choose to include Jurgen or not. It's fascinating how a fucked up Oedipal mess their relationship is: they are father/brother/son to each other. Luther is repressed and is quietly jealous that Lion has overtaken him as the greatest knight of Caliban. Lion has no social skills and basically dumps Luther and the Caliban born astartes on the planet. But they still have very strong feeling about each other. You can set the story pre-heresy, during the heresy or after Lion's return. More angst, repression, communication issues, pining (one sided or not), angry sex, dealing with the betrayal and messy past. If you want to write stasis sex, it's great too.

Konrad Curze/Jago Sevatarion (W40k)
Absolute fucking disaster of a man/his more sensible right hand who goes along with all of his nonsense anyway because it’s him. Sevatar is somehow the one exception to Konrad's belief that everyone, especially his sons, is just THE WORST, despite basically everything Sevatar does. Both are dysfunctional people who won't know what a normal relationship is like largely due to their upbringings. I just want more of their messy relationship. Something to do with their psychic ability is nice too.

Fallen Hero Series is a text based interactive novel series that the Player Character was originally a superhero telepath named Sidestep until something happened to them. Now, the PC is on the path towards villainy. Unfortunately, things don't go as smoothly as expected when the PC becomes entangled with their former teammate Ortega, and the Rangers once again. Why do I like it:
I love how Sidestep and Steel find quiet comfort with each other (walking Steel, the apartment scene, etc), and how they understand each other. Both of them have to deal with enduring issues and impacts that still influence their lives, and they are good at supporting each other. I love how Steel guessed Sidestep's villain identity but is willing to protect him. Their canon sex scene is very gentle and tender too.
I prefer Sidestep to care about Steel and other Rangers. You can write him as an idealist who saves everyone even against his original plan, or a more ruthless crime boss who is willing to kill re-genes and farm agents, but please don't write him as a mass killer who only thinks of the Rangers as pawns or enemies.

I love how their connection build through story telling despite their difference and language barrier. I always like people who can't communicate and understand each other fully due to factor beyond their control but try anyway.
